Denzel Washington may not be the sexiest man alive according to People — they gave that honor away to Channing Tatum, who is a rather worthy winner I must say — but Denzel is still one of the magazine’s honorees this year and we are quite happy about that.
Showing off just how good 57 can look, the former 1996 “Sexiest Man Alive,” said while he’s proud of the career accomplishments he’s garnered over the years, most recently the positive reviews for his film, “Flight,” there’s another success he finds just as honorable: 28 years of marriage to his wife, Pauletta Pearson.
When asked by People what’s the secret to their long marriage he said:
“Do what your wife tells you and keep your mouth shut.”
Yet another reason to love that man!
