During President Obama’s speech announcing the official end of combat operations in Iraq, critics made all sorts of notes and comments.  Would the President give credit to his predecessor, President George W. Bush for the surge?  What would he say was to come?  What would his tone be like?

These comments are along the lines of what we’ve come to expect, but the most notable reaction has been to the Oval Office makeover.

The Oval Office makeover has been the talk of newspaper columnists and bloggers alike.   And while we’re not down with Maureen Dowd’s assertion that the muted tones reflect the President’s policies, we have to agree–your office is a reflection of you.

So here are some tips on how to spruce up your work space and make where you work tell the world you are indeed a Madame.
