Give yourself a mini pedi at home at least once a week, twice a week if possible. This doesn’t mean you have to redo painting your toenails. But it does mean that you need to follow a three step process for a basic pedicure:
First, soak your feet.
Nail expert Skyy Hadley recommends beginning with a warm milk foot bath and soaking your feet in about 5-7 cups of warm milk and about 2 cups of water for 10 minutes. According to Hadley, “The lactic acid in the milk will eat away at any dead skin you may have and leave your feet feeling silky smooth.” Another Hadley tip is to add a few drops of Jasmine or Vanilla Essential Oils for extra pampering and relaxation.
