It’s the end of the week, Madames! Time to check in with our editors and see what they’re loving and not so loving about the week:
Sean Penn Love: Watched Wyclef on Larry King Live, and Sean Penn’s appearance afterwards. While I’m amused by Wyclef, my fellow Libra’s run for president, Sean Penn’s reminder of the corporate factions that might have vested interests in Wyclef’s run quickly snapped me out of my Top 10 Reasons Why Wyclef Would Make a Great Prez.
Wyclef Love: On second thought, I do agree with my sister who tweeted, “real talk, wyclef probably loves haiti more than any haitian i’ve ever met.”
Jimmy Fallon Love: I met Jimmy Fallon this week. Great personality. Go ‘head and work it out then, Jim-Jim! No, literally, he’s working out…trying to lose weight to host the Emmys.
Kanye West Love: I don’t like Twitter, but the thing about Kanye West and his ridiculously obnoxious self is, I like him. I started following him on Twitter this week.

Workout Love: Gotta take care of that booty(strike through) body, so I’ve got a new workout regime going–running and more running–and mini-fast before my upcoming long weekend away. I see lots of fruits and veggie-only days in my future and I’m afraid to say I have to lay off the Twizzlers and Swedish Fish…and oh, no more bagels.
First Lady Love: Every week is a good week to gush over Michelle Obama, but that pic of her in Spain (on vacation with Sasha) with that one-shouldered black & white blouse. Perfection. OK, fashion bloggers, who makes it?
Love Love: I talk to so many women for my job and in my personal life, and read so many articles about looking for love, wanting love and doing without love, that–not only this week, but every week–I am so appreciative for the love I have in my life. From my daughter, from my family, and from my man. Insert collective “awww” _____.
End of Summer Love: There always seems to be a rush in the beginning of the summer to make the season amazing and go here and there and do this and that. But in August, you start to re-group. You get into a groove and begin to slow down and enjoy the lazy days of summer. I love that feeling.

Blog Love: Through my usual scouring of “The Internets,” I always land on The FreshXpress.com. Their site is an awesome place for intellectual debate concerning issues and trends in America. This piece examined an angle of male/female relationships I’d never considered.
Smoothie Love:
Being a sucker for a good smoothie on an extremely hot day, we visited McDonald’s to try their new McCafe’s smoothie (Strawberry Banana to be exact). When I tell you it was the bomb-dot-com, I’m not lying. It’s the perfect cool drink for a steamy summer day.
Movie Love: Mom always told me I should have learned to play the piano and now all I do is envy those with the musical skill. Saw the screening for “They Came to Play” this week and really enjoyed the healthy competition for the esteemed Van Cliburn Foundation award.
Jewelry Love: I’ve never been the type of girl who’s obsessed or even fascinated with jewelry, but lately things have been changing… guess I’m getting to that age. Paloma’s Marrakesh ring had me gushing at the pages of Vogue. Just had to add it to our “
