Mikki’s Favorite Beauty Stocking Stuffers

As a child, I remember the joys of dumping out my stocking on Christmas morning to find fun trinkets from Santa. While it was nice to find any and every little thing at the bottom of them, when a chick dumps out her stocking today, she needs to find something she can use. Looking for small gifts to give friends, daughters, secret-Santa coworkers, and a boyfriend (or last minute gifts to ask others to get you)?  Here are a few of my beauty must-haves for the holidays.

Yorokobi Super Orgasm (Sephora, $39)

Ladies! If you have never tried Orgasm (blush, get your mind out of the gutter) by Nars, you will want to pick up this awesome set. The super shimmery, peach shade looks great on all skin tones. It is a staple in my own makeup bag and this holiday kit is a great way to introduce yourself or loved ones to new cosmetic lines. For the price of one blush you will also get a nail polish and a lipgloss! The perfect set for the chick who stays reapplying her look on the go. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Glimmer Wonderland Eighteen Piece Mini Nail Colour Set (Sephora, $48)

Sephora has teamed up with OPI to come up with a line exclusively carried in their stores. With 18 colors to choose from, the options for fabulousity are endless. This kit offers everything from basic colors to fun holiday hues that will have people staring at your mitts. There are enough to treat yourself and still gift a few to sisters, daughters or friends.

e.l.f. 24K 4-Piece Glitter Gloss Collection (www.eyeslipsface.com, $14)

I don’t know too many ladies who don’t like shiny things that sparkle. We might not have diamonds for you, but if glitter is your thing, you will want to snag this 4-piece gloss set. Mix and match the colors to create a customized look. The velvety smooth texture is sure to make you feel glamorous.

Collections Modern Bride (www.eyeslipsface.com, $20)

Although this kit is meant for the do-it-herself bride, I think it’s good for anyone who wants to streamline her makeup bag. Nail polish to fake lashes, this kit has not left out any of the beauty essentials. For a price tag of 20 bucks, you can’t beat this deal. The only downside is the limited options for the powder colors. I suggest using the pressed powder as a brow highlighting eye shadow instead. We never waste makeup around here…

Women’s Coffret (Sephora, $50)

Who doesn’t love a delicious scent on the the go? These ultra-chic fragrances would definitely be a nice surprise in the bottom of the stocking for anybody, especially when you’re talking about handing out scents the likes of Gucci Guilty and Flora both in Eau de Toilette and Parfum variations. Guilty is sophisticated while Flora is youthful. Feel free to break the set up for more treats in each stocking. Available at Sephora ($50).

Harajuki Lovers Wicked Style Mini Rollerball Coffret (Sephora, $15)

These may look like sweet and innocent, but don’t throw them in your daughter’s stocking without smelling them first because they are absolutely phenomenal and fresh. Pick your favorites and give your mini-me the left over ones that smell like cotton candy. Rollerballs are great because you don’t have to worry about accidentally spilling your favorite fragrance in the bottom of your purse. Give these scents a shot, you may find you’ll become a Harajuku Lover.

Noir 5-Piece Brush Set – Black (Sephora, $55)

Our most beloved kitty is making an appearance this Christmas, and she’s black! This black, blinged-out Hello Kitty holder is home to a 5-piece brush set. You will have all the tools you need to create a flawless face. The holder makes storing your brushes for travel a snap.

Deluxe Fragrance Sampler For Him (Sephora, $50)

We can’t leave out the men in our lives. This set is a sampler of all the hottest fragrances for him. With 14 to choose from, one is bound to become his new signature scent. There is also a voucher inside the box to be redeemed at Sephora for the large size of his favorite fragrance. As an added bonus, the kit includes a moisturizer and facial cleanser. Pretty sweet deal!
