When two celebs unite and decide to get married, more often than not the event becomes a sought after spectacle for the world.  With typically large bank accounts, and plentiful staff and resources, mega stars tend to shout their love from the rooftops of the most exquisite and elaborate villas and resorts.  The scope of the wedding is usually pretty outlandish, with any country in the world at their fingertips.  So where are some of the most exclusive and luxurious wedding destinations?  Check out this list and be prepared to be jealous!

1. The Cloisters in Baltimore, Maryland

Actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett professed their love, December 31, 1997, at The Cloisters in Baltimore, Maryland.  They recited their vows at a 1930’s castle constructed in a combined medieval French and English style. Although Will Smith has said he would never cheat on his wife without first asking permission, he has been quoted as saying, “In our marriage vows, we didn’t say ‘forsaking all others.’ The vow that we made was that you will never hear that I did something after the fact…If it came down to it, then one spouse can say to the other, ‘Look, I need to have sex with somebody. I’m not going to if you don’t approve of it – but please approve of it.'” Hm , sounds fishy Mr. Smith!

2. Parrot Bay Resort, Turks and Caicos

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were married on June 29, 2005 at Parrot Bay Resort in Turks and Caicos.  The couple flew in on a private jet from Los Angeles, only telling their closest family and friends where they were going.  The mid-week secret ceremony took place on the beach in front of the resort. Jennifer’s “Alias” co-star, Victor Garber, officiated the vows. After sunset, they retreated to a private villa on the property owned by Bruce Willis, where they enjoyed cake and toasts. They stayed at the villa on their wedding night and honeymooned at the resort for the three nights to follow.  During their stay, they enjoyed the Como Shambhala spa and the Terrace restaurant.

3. Nassau, Bahamas

In a private garden wedding, NFL superstar Deion Sanders married beautiful model-actress Pilar Biggers in Nassau, Bahamas on Friday, May 21, 1999. Eighty of the couple’s closest friends flew in for the ocean view ceremony officiated by their spiritual leader and guide, Bishop T.D. Jakes.

4. Hillside on St James, Barbados

Tiger Woods wedding at Sandy Lane Golf Club in St James was such a hush-hush affair that even the family of bride, Elin Nordegren, did not know where they were headed when they left Sweden.  Only when they arrived at Gatwick Airport in London, England, to pick up their tickets were they told that their final destination was Barbados.  Until that moment, they were told only that the wedding was taking place in a tropical paradise, and to dress accordingly.  In true golfer fashion, the 120 guests enjoyed a spectacular view from their hillside position on the eastern end of the course near to the 19th hole.

5. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Heidi Klum and Seal tied the knot in an intimate surprise wedding on Tuesday, May 10. Although the pair had been engaged since December, it didn’t seem like a wedding was eminent. They seemed to be focused on Klum’s daughter Leni, who Seal is helping to co-parent, as well as their soon-to-be born child together.  The ceremony reportedly took place on the beach at Seal’s villa near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. 40 guests were present for the vows, including Leni, as well as other family and friends.

6. Odescalchi Castle at Lake Bracciano, Italy

Just 40 minutes from Rome and 35 minutes from Rome Fiumicino Airport, The Odescalchi Castle at Lake Bracciano is the perfect location for a lavish Castle Wedding in Italy.  Therefore it was no surprise that mega star Tom Cruise and actress wife Katie Holmes chose this castle for their wedding day. The couple exchanged vows on November, 18 2006 in front of more than 150 guests.

7. Bacara Resort & Spa, Santa Barbara, Ca

This resort seems to be the go to spot for weekend getaways and celeb weddings.  In September, “Army Wives” star Sally Pressman married David Rogers at Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara. Back in October of 2004, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler were here as well. The couple worked with wedding planner, Mindy Weiss, to create a red and black event inspired by their favorite movie, “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth were married at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Montecito, California in January of 2001 and held their reception at the luxurious Bacara Resort & Spa. Soccer star Landon Donovan also got married here to actress Biana Kajlich on New Years Eve in 2006.
