Being “cool” with someone you aren’t cool with

I really just hated how much of socializing involved pretending to be cool with someone you just aren’t cool with. Wasn’t that exhausting? Having to bite your tongue to keep the dynamic cool, all for someone who didn’t bite her tongue enough? Being the bigger person to let things run smoothly is such a hassle—a hassle I don’t face during this quarantine.
