The company behind skincare, makeup, and fragrance brands like MAC, BECCA, Too Faced, Smashbox, Origins, and Clinique has awarded a $2 million grant to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières to support their coronavirus response work in under-resourced and highly impacted countries. The Estée Lauder brand, headquartered in New York City, is also donating two million surgical masks to those on the front lines of the relief efforts in New York and has reopened its Melville, New York, manufacturing facility to produce hand sanitizer for high-need groups and populations, including medical staff.
