As one of the innovative and leading tech companies, here are some actions Facebook is taking in response.

  • Facebook is giving each of its employees a $1,000 bonus to help support them during the coronavirus outbreak, according to a report by The Information. The bonus is intended to help employees set up home offices, after implementing work from home orders earlier in March.
  • The $1,000 bonus excludes contract workers.
  • The company will also pay hourly employees their full wages even if hours have been reduced.
