- The American auto company has joined with innovative firms 3M and GE Healthcare to assemble needed tools to combat the coronavirus across America.
- GE Healthcare and Ford will collaborate to produce a simplified version of GE’s Healthcare ventilator design in anticipation of the thousands of ventilators that will be needed for patients experiencing respiratory difficulties.
- Ford is slated to assemble more than 100,000 needed plastic face shields per week to distribute to medical professionals, using 3D printing capabilities.
