When we’re faced with challenges or need to make a decision, we usually call on our friends and loved ones for their input. Since one of your partner’s friends happens to be an ex-lover, she (or he) may be one of the people who gets called on. Their opinion may hold significant weight in the eyes of your partner, which may cause some discomfort for you.
