The long career journey

College makes it seem so clean-cut—so simple—the whole finding a career thing. They make it seem like you’ll be well on your way in a career by your early thirties. Nobody tells you that you’ll probably spend three to five years in one industry before realizing it’s all wrong for you and then you may try to start your own business that fails because you don’t have the experience and then you may be an intern at age 29. And that’s okay.
