After almost a decade of tension, TV legend Wendy Williams and radio host Charlamagne Tha God have finally made amends. Cthagod was famously fired from Wendy’s radio show in 2008 after tense conflict with Williams’ husband, but it appears the two have found a way to reconcile their friendship.

Williams penned a sweet message for Charla on her Instagram page with a photo of them both.

He learned from the best. Loyalty is everything! My guy is doing his thing!❤”

After years of speculation, “The Breakfast Club” host finally revealed what caused a rift in him and Wendy’s relationship. He claims Kevin Hunter thought his mistress, Sharina, was hooking up with one of C’s friends and blamed C for hooking them up.

“The reason Kevin Hunter and I fell out, and the reason why I don’t communicate with Wendy anymore is because of Sharina. Kevin got upset because he thought Sharina liked one of my homeboys and he thought that I was hooking Sharina up [with other men],” Charlamagne told his TBC audience as he crowned Kevin “Donkey Of The Day.”

“Kev, you deserve everything that is happening to you right now because you do understand that everything you attempt to do to someone has already been done to you,” Charlamagne continued. “You were so busy trying to get me fired, and look… Wendy Williams soon-to-be ex-husband is being fired as her manager and executive producer of the TV show amidst this divorce scandal.”

After Wendy filed for divorce, Wendy and C finally had the chance to chop it up again. During an episode of her show, Wendy told her audience that C invited her to dinner.

The crowd initially thought it was a date, but C clarified it was an attempt to extend an olive branch.

“It’s not a date at all,” he said on “The Breakfast Club” at the time.

“For me, [as] someone who used to be friends with Wendy, work with Wendy, and having a front-row seat to a lot of the abuse I saw her endure, I’m just happy that she’s finally free of that stuff.”
