Megan Thee Stallion Threatens Lawsuit Against Makeup Artist Over Violating NDA
The resident hot girl Meg The Stallion might be gearing up for a legal battle after TMZ discovered a cease and desist order filed against her makeup artist Akil McKoy.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Meg’s lawyer, Dina LaPolt, is examining next steps if McKoy continues to violate the terms of his nondisclosure agreement.
Everything stems from an October Vogue Magazine piece which gave viewers a glimpse of what goes down during a day in the life of the Houston rapper.
In the video Meg is asked about how she learned to do makeup to which she responded, “One day my grandma just bought me hella eyeshadow from like the Dollar Store probably. I was like 12. When she did that, it was over for these b—–s. My mom arched my eyebrows for the first time when I was in ninth grade and I like took over.”
She did mention Akil in the video during a later snippet who appears with her in the interview. “I like Akil a lot and we get into it like every day. ‘Don’t do it like that, don’t put it like that friend,'” Megan said. “He’ll be like, ‘I’m not.’ And he doing whatever the f–k he wanna’ do.”
Meg posted a snippet of the video to her Instagram account of 6.4 million followers and captioned the post, “@voguemagazine followed your favorite hot girl around for the day!!! Link in bio! Ps. they caught Johnathan being the charger thief he really is,”
However, it went left when Akil came into the comment sections on her post. “By Akilaface,” he wrote. Megan then replied to his comment, writing, “@akilaface and me.”
“No you filled in your eyebrows and put on your lighter Mac powder when I was done,” Akil responded back. “This is not a makeup war I always do your makeup and never get credited. That is hurtful.”
Things continued to escalate when Meg responded back.
“Woah. First of all if you was really ‘hurt’ you could’ve txt me this,” she wrote. “Second you right it ain’t a war bc we all kno I do my makeup and you touch it up or I let you start it and I’ll finish it.”
Akil continued the conversation on his Instagram account where he posted a duplicate of the video Meg shared with her followers to his Instastories.
“I did this makeup and Megan touched up her eyebrows and put her Mac powder on her face like she does everytime. I do her face.”
“You’ll don’t know the situation and I don’t have to throw shade to get a Fan base,” he continued. “Hate it or love it. And thirdly, I never disrespected anyone. I love the girl. Good Day. I hope EVERY Artist Out There would understand me. The End.”
Hopefully the two can find harmony together, but it looks like their business relationship may be on pause as for now.
