Artist Naezrah’s usually colorful and vibrant color palette has been replaced with all things dark and spooky for this time of the year. For her Halloween designs, she has done a terrifying Pennywise, Maleficent and Chelsea (Chucky’s twin sister). If you’re looking for that healthy balance of scary and glam, this is the page to follow for inspiration.

Jarry the Worst is one of the best out there. She first went viral with her rainbow skull look two years ago and people are STILL recreating it. Her work is always vivid and colorful, perfect for anyone who has been dying to try something bold with their new eyeshadow palette. For inspiration, you can check out her Cute Maleficent post, her Sexy Cheshire Cat post, or her Rainbow Watercolor Skull, a sequel to her original Rainbow Skull look.

Okay, so how committed are you to winning this costume contest? Committed enough to stick cereal to your face? Shantal Martin is an MUA who also works with effects makeup. She gives step-by-step tutorials on how to do some of her craziest looks and what products to use to make them look even more believable. Take her zombie look, for example. She usually uses oatmeal for the decaying skin, but she didn’t have any on her, so she improvised by using Magic Spoon Cereal instead. It looks just as gory — and cool!

We love a theme! Bri Monet always has a vision in mind when she creates her looks. She can find inspiration in black and white movies, the upcoming holidays and even The Sims characters. Recently, she’s been making costume-worthy designs including Lavagirl, Spider Gwen, and an electrifying Harry Potter, as you can see.

Snitchery is a makeup artist, a cosplayer and Savage x Fenty ambassador. She loves recreating herself into Instagram portraits of her favorite childhood characters, including Daria, Buttercup and Princess Bubblegum. She plays with wigs, cosmetic makeup and body paint to create the most perfect cartoon version of herself. Check out her page for more nostalgic inspiration.

She’s either super cute or super scary, there’s no in-between. Aulani Michell is a California-based MUA who has been posting some KILLER looks this spooky season. She’s transformed her whole face into ghosts within ghosts, a skeleton mask and a glam Frankenstein. You’ve probably already seen her before as she’s also modeled for Milani Cosmetics.
