It could all be so simple. But apparently, rapper Future would rather make it hard in this ongoing paternity battle with model Eliza Seraphin, known on social media as Eliza Reign.
According to The Blast, Future is trying to make this legal battle go away. So much so, that he’s accused Seraphin of fraud. In his response to Seraphin’s lawsuit, Future has requested that it be thrown out entirely because the lawsuit is fraudulent. He also denies being the father of Reign Wilburn.
Seraphin has obviously heard about Future’s correspondence. Because in response, she changed her Instagram name to “Just Take The Test.”
She also had a shirt made that reads, “1-800-Deadbeat,” no doubt a reference to Future’s attempt to shirk his parenting responsibilities.
We can argue about the maturity of the deadbeat shirt, but I have to admit that Eliza does have a point with the paternity test. It’s quick, painless and would settle all of this. Perhaps his hesitation in taking it has something to do with his own questions about the likelihood of him being the father.
Future and Eliza are set to meet in court next month.
