Wendy Williams was excited to embark on her comedy tour, Wendy Williams & Friends: For the Record… UMM HMMM!, but unfortunately her tour was full of cancellations instead of laughs. Many of the scheduled shows were cancelled including stops in Cleveland, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit and her hometown of New Jersey. She was hoping to be able to carry out the finale show tonight at the Mahaffey Theater in Florida but that show was cancelled as well.

According to Radar Online, the last show was cancelled due to low ticket sales. It’s not clear if the ticket sales were low for her scheduled performances in Detroit and Philadelphia but when it was cancelled two-thirds of the tickets were still available.

The 55-year-old is living her best life despite the disappointment around her comedy tour. Since filing from divorce from her soon-to-be husband, Kevin Hunter, she’s been photographed out on numerous occasions smiling from ear-to-ear and partying with other celebs like Cardi B and Blac Chyna. The gossip queen even rekindled her friendship with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes, who appeared on Williams’ show last week.  She also received some great news last week when it was finalized that The Wendy Williams Show has been renewed through 2022. Besides dishing on hot topics, she is also executive producing her biopic, which will premiere on Lifetime in 2020.
