Last week, we wrote about “13 Reasons Why” actress, Grace Saif, leaving social media due to fans of the show hating her character and attacking her personhood as a result. Her “13 Reasons” co-stars came to her defense. But apparently, she wasn’t the only Black actress who had experienced this type of bullying from fans.

Ashleigh Murray, from “Riverdale” weighed with her own experiences of bullying portraying the role of Josie on the CW series.

She said she doesn’t blame Saif for leaving social media, “People have literally called me a monkey, trash, sloppy, classless darkie and told me to jump in an oven because…Josie kissed Archie.”

For those who don’t know, “Riverdale” is based on the Archie comic series so Josie, a Black woman, kissing the comic’s leading boy

Racism is still very real.
