On Friday, August 2nd, the doors of Winchester College will be re-opening and we will be tuning back in for season three of Netflix’s Dear White People.  This season, we will see Samantha White, played by Logan Browning, has part ways with her Dear White People radio show and her friend Joelle Brooks (Ashley Blaine Featherson) step in. After spending most of season two trying to expose the Order of X secret society, Samantha and Lionel (DeRon Horton) see that they don’t have it all figured out just yet. CoCo Conner’s mother, played by Yvette Nicole Brown, even makes an appearance this season and by the looks of the teaser, she and her mother are like night day.

Besides Brown, other guest stars including Blair Underwood, Laverne Cox and Flavor Flav.

One thing viewers can expect this season is that Samantha, Reggie, Lionel, Coco and the rest of the gang will continue to unapologetically address the racial tension, divide and microaggressions at their predominately white Ivy League college.

Take a look at the trailer below.
