There’s no doubt that our First Lady Michelle Obama will go down in history as one of the best dressed ever. Since exiting the oval office, she’s taken a series of fashion risks. Whether it’s wearing sequin Balenciaga boots or up an coming designers, whatever she wears, undoubtedly puts the designer on the map. She’s styled by Meredith Koop who has been behind the scenes serving her iconic lewks.

Michelle Obama was a headliner for the 25th Anniversary of Essence Festival and she delivered with some serious style. Post 4th of July, she gave us a patriotic style with a blue Sergio Hudson sequin wide leg jumpsuit. She wore it with an belt donning an oversized brass gold buckle. Michelle Obama paired it with black shoes.

To set the entire look off, she served us her natural curls! Her curls had honey brown highlights that really brought out her melanin and is great summer style. She went for a natural makeup look and was candid while being interviewed by Gayle King.

She rocked light pink oval manicured nails and red pedicured toes. It was very patriotic in a subtle way.

It’s so hard to believe that Michelle Obama is 55-years-old. I love how her style transcends age and she manages to stay on trend but not like she’s trying to keep up with 25-year-olds.

This isn’t the first time she has worn Sergio Hudson. She wore a purple pantsuit while in Atlanta for her ‘Becoming’ Tour in mid-May.

I love this look on Mrs. Obama! She looks ready for summer and just serving us style! The natural hair was such a great touch. What do you think of the look? Talk to us in the comment section. We want to hear from you.
