Winnie Harlow is about her coin! On Sunday night’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian West announced that she would be collaborated with Winnie Harlow for her beauty brand.

Although there are no details on this collaboration, it would be a great opportunity for Harlow to conquer the beauty world. As a runway model, she has dominated her career. She has graced the Victoria’s Secret runway show as an angel, and has been a fashion fixture on the red carpet at top notch, elite events. With a potential deal in the works, she can change the game from a model to a beauty connoisseur.

The supermodel recently spent some time at beautycon in Tokyo. In an Instagram post, she said, “Super excited to partner with @Beautycon for their FIRST EVER #BeautyconTokyo are you ready Tokyo?💄🎈” Clearly this woman is making moves!  The beauty industry can benefit from Harlow’s beauty.

Harlow has Tyra Banks to thank for her robust career. After competing on America’s Next Top Model, she began booking shows due to her unique look. Since then, there hasn’t been a runway that she hasn’t thrived on. She has been an inspiration to young women everywhere who have a physical condition or disability and feel different. She has used her platform to educate and advocate for young people who have vitiligo. This is the perfect time for her to explore a beauty campaign with a brand that will allow her to further her prospective beauty career. Say what you want about the Kardashians, but their platforms make money and I’m here for a Black woman aligning to make some serious income.

Nevertheless, the Kardashians consistently get the side eye for co-opting Black culture, so it’s interesting that Kim Kardashian West has decided to partner with a Black woman. Khloe Kardashian did the same thing with her best friend, Malika Haqq for a collection with Becca Cosmetics. Does this partnership make you want to support the brand more because a Black woman is involved? Are you looking forward to this collaboration? What products do you want to see?
