She Tried It! This Hydrating Clay Mask Is Great For Your Skin After A Beach Day (And Costs Under $1.50)
It’s the unofficial start of Summer and that means enjoying the suns ray and long days at the beach. As you are getting much needed doses of Vitamin D, remember that the sun can suck the moisture out of your skin. UVA rays are the main culprits of stripping your skin from moisture and speeding up the aging process. If you are spending a lot of time in the sun, you may need more than than just sunscreen.
For the month of May, I spent a lot of time in the sun. I wanted to give my skin some extra TLC, so I added a 7th Heaven Coconut & Clay Peel-Off Mask ($1.49, ulta.com) in my beauty bag. The mask mixes the benefits of a clay and coconut. Clay is great for skin as a natural detoxifier and serves as a magnet for toxin. Clay is also a mild exfoliant, removing dead surface level skin cells. Clay masks will also help balance out your skin, which is perfect for combination skin. If you have oily skin, clay masks are always great for giving you a more matte look.
The skin mask is great as it has coconut, which is extremely hydrating for skin. It also makes this peel-off mask smell great and was a nice addition in my tropical vacation. Some complain that the don’t find coconut moisturizing enough, but mixed with the clay, your skin is going to feel great!
The best part of this mask is that it’s $1.49, giving you a hydrating experience, without breaking the bank. It’s also vegan and cruelty free.
