Ciara is showing off her natural hair again, but in what she says is her original texture.

The star put her freshly washed hair on display on Wednesday, with it pulled up in a pineapple style. She said her natural hair reminded her of the hair her son, Future, has on his adorable head. The texture reminds us of a bouncy 4A curl.

“Guys can you believe it? This is my real hair,” she said while making faces in the camera. “This is what it looks like when I wash it. Funky! This is like Juicy Man’s hair.”

However, the 33-year-old singer and mom of three didn’t let her natural texture stay out and about for very long. She went ahead and had her hair styled in some beautiful brown faux locs, which she showed off on Thursday:

As mentioned, yesterday’s reveal of her natural curls isn’t the first time the beauty has allowed her natural hair to breathe. Back in April, she let people see her length, saying, “I’m so proud because my hair is growing.” She remarked on how proud of her strands she was due to all the damage it previously went through from relaxers.

“The first time I got a relaxer when I was young, it took out my hair. I was devastated,” she wrote. “I never thought my hair would grow back. So proud.”

She’s getting more and more comfortable showing off her natural strands and overall natural beauty to help promote her latest album, Beauty Marks. We guess it’s been helping, because according to her, the album has sold more than 135,000 units around the world since its release on May 10.

But since we are originally on the subject of hair, hit the flip for some of Ci Ci’s biggest hair moments over the years, from huge afro puffs and cornrows to bobs and dye jobs to die for.
