The drama between Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members Nene Leakes and Porsha Williams seems to have come to a hard stop after Nene allegedly sent Porsha a cease and desist letter.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Porsha explained that she recently received the notice which prompted her to further withdraw from their relationship.

“After that whole Instagram back and forth that she started with me, she ended up sending me a cease and desist,” she said. “So once she sent me a cease and desist, at that point, I was like, ‘You know what? This is just a sure sign that I should be done with the relationship.’ So I’m over it. I’m concentrating on my baby girl. And people who love and support me at this moment.”

The text exchange in question went down weeks ago, while Porsha was in recovery from delivering her daughter Pilar. Both Nene and Porsha shared messages that they sent one another after Nene claimed that she was no longer friends with most of the cast. As the women engaged in some nasty words, Nene resorted to hit below the belt and called Williams a “lying ass big fat hungry b—h” and a “big piggy with the busted shape,” among many things.

“I think for anyone who just gave birth and is trying to get used to her brand new body, it’s difficult, right? And you wouldn’t want anybody to add to how stressful and how you mentally think about yourself,” Williams told the outlet. “You don’t want them to add to the stress of that. So that was hard.”

When it comes to the tension displayed at the RHOA reunion between Nene and the ladies, Porsha said she just chose to rise above it all.

“God is good, and He was definitely speaking to my heart that night because there was some spirits in the room that weren’t quite right and sometimes you have to speak over them and speak love,” Williams continued. “I think all these women are great in their own way and I really meant what I said. I would love for my daughter to take some of the better characteristics from the women and be like them. ‘Cause they’re all strong women, even if they’re a little petty at times.”

Porsha has remained focused on motherhood and is clearly in love and obsessed with her baby girl. Bravo will air a three-part special, Porsha’s Having a Baby, leading up to the delivery, which will show Porsha and her fiance Dennis McKinley as they rush to the finish line. The first part is scheduled to air this Sunday.

“We can all support each other, and I think that most of this season got back to be really getting into our personal lives and what all of us are going through and the dynamics of how we really do support each other,” Williams adds. “I think that’s what next season will probably do as well. Listen, the drama will be there, that’s just life. But I think the sisterhood will continue, as it did this season.”

The new mom said she’s enjoying this new journey but will return to work at Dish Nation sometime in late June. She thanks everyone who has sent good karma her way.

“I have to say, a lot of people, they give you support from a far. And I appreciate it all, I really do. It takes a village to raise a child and it takes a village to encourage the mom. So I appreciate the support, I really do.”
