Kenyan Firms Stare at Losses in Ivory Coast Election Fiasco

(Business Daily Africa) — Kenyan companies operating in Ivory Coast have suffered heavy losses in the past one month since the West African State was plunged into a political crisis, highlighting the risks that local enterprises face as they seek to grow their presence in Africa.  National carrier Kenya Airways, insurance firm Kenya Re and marketing services company ScanGroup — all listed at the Nairobi Stock Exchange — have reported business disruptions since the disputed November 28 presidential election.
