Comedian Jess Hilarious has finally apologized after a wave of backlash washed over her career after she racially profiled two Seikh men on an airplane.

We previously reported, the fiasco began when the Instagram star took to the platform to gasp at the sight of two Seikh men leaving her plane during a mandatory evacuation. She came back online and noted how the men were now absent from the plane, as a justification for her xenophobia and baseless fears.

“One thing, n*ggas know I’m never f*ckin racist but I spotted something, I pointed it out earlier. And we got evacuated from our plane. We were on the plane for like an hour and did not get to pull off. Everybody was coming at me like, ‘You racist, b*tch. You f*cked up.’ because I pointed out four different people I saw on the plane earlier. So when we had to evacuate with no reason at all, nobody said anything we just had to evacuate and I don’t see the same four people I seen before. Apologize b*tch. That’s what y’all need to do. Stop being so f*ckin scared, nigga. cuz that’s one thing I’m not. I’m not scared of y’all, I’m not scared of nobody. And I got the durag on cuz my waves is spinning,” she unapologetically told her millions of followers.

Jess remained confrontational and abrasive while the Internet dragged her for her ignorance. But it appears the 27-year-old finally came to her senses, issuing a tearful mea culpa on Instagram live.

“In my previous post, I was defensive, but that happens when you don’t take the time to really know what’s transpiring. In understanding the error of my actions I have to first acknowledge the rooted issues, which means racially profiling a group of individuals based on their appearance, and on top of that publicizing that on a platform where others can be hurt by it.”

She went on to say she should empathize with the Seikh men, considering she is a Black woman, and expressed the desire to apologize to them personally. She also vowed to donate $15,000 to the family of the victims of the New Zealand terroist attack.
