HIGHLIGHT AND APPLY A LIP
We loved Gurira’s highlight. Buacharern used BLK/OPL True Color Illuminating Stick in Amber Lights ($6.29, BlackOpalBeauty.com) along her brow bone, bridge of her nose, and her cheekbones. This highlighter stick is great because it mimics ones natural complexion and is buildable so you can control the intensity of the glow. Use two different highlighters to make your face more dynamic. Buacherern used the Illuminating Stick in Bronze Glow ($6.29, BlackOpalBeauty.com) to give some color to Gurira’s cheeks.
For her lip, Buacherern kept with the metallic theme and used BLK/OPL ColorSplurge Patent Lips in Copper Tone ($4.87, BlackOpalBeauty.com). This is a lipstick that has a high pigment payoff but also the shine of a gloss. He was more intense with the application in the center of her lips and faded out into more of a gloss look.
Buacherern finished off the look by dusting BLK/OPL Invisible Oil Blocking Pressed Powder ($6.99, BlackOpalBeauty.com). This powder is translucent coverage that will lock in the look and control shine! If you don’t want your makeup to look cakey, or you’re not feeling a powder, try Too Faced Peach Mist Mattifying Spray ($32.00, Sephora.com). The spray will have the same effect as the powder AND it smells like peaches and figs!
