Jordyn Woods Admits This Week’s Been Really Real Following Tristan Thompson Scandal, Kardashian Cold Shoulder
Earlier this week, it was alleged that Jordyn Woods, model and BFF of Kylie Jenner, had been seen making out with Khloe Kardashian’s on-and-off boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, who is the father of Kardashian’s daughter, True. For some time it was just speculation, and it sounded like a ridiculous story, but it was seemingly confirmed by Kardashian and her best friend, Malika Haqq.
Since then, members of the famous family have unfollowed Woods on social media, and it’s been reported that she has moved out of the guest house she was in at Jenner’s home. She’s also been quiet on social media, where she was dragged pretty ferociously when the story broke. However, the 21-year-old isn’t hiding. She stepped out for the first time since the scandal to celebrate a new beauty product she’s been working on. She teamed up with Eylure to launch a line of false lashes, and celebrated the release at a party in LA.
She took to the microphone, albeit briefly, to speak on her whirlwind week, and she made it clear that the last few days have been a lot.
“Through everything that’s been going on, you know it’s been real, and Eylure has been super real with a project I’ve been working on for over nine months right now.”
She said a few other things about the lash line before handing over the mic and going on her way, but they weren’t audible.
Woods and Jenner have been best friends since they met through Jaden Smith in the eighth grade. And while it’s unclear if their relationship will make it based on what’s been alleged and the way Kardashian and the rest of the family are feeling and acting (Kim literally posted petty video of herself and Haqq singing Nivea’s “Don’t Mess With My Man”), they did, before this scandal, have a very strong bond.
“Having a best friend is, like, everything,” Woods said about Jenner to PEOPLE in 2017. “I feel like everyone deserves a best friend. It’s just like having someone you can call at any time. “Obviously, I have my family and I have my mom, but sometimes you need that extra person that isn’t a part of everything, going through the same things as you. It’s really helpful. I feel like right now, at this age, you develop the friends that you’re going to have forever, and we do everything together.”
Ironically, when asked at that time if she saw their friendship going strong forever, Woods didn’t emphatically say yes.
“Nothing’s forever, but for as long as I can imagine, I believe so.”
