Bill Cosby has been in prison for four months and he has not had any visits from his family.

According to the Associated Press, Cosby’s wife, Camille, and his three daughters have yet to visit the Pennsylvania state prison. The 81-year-old is incarcerated 20 miles away from their Philadelphia home.

Cosby’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, said Cosby would rather his family not visit him.

“He doesn’t want to have them in that environment,” Wyatt said. “Why put them in that position, to make it turn into some form of a circus?”

Mrs. Cosby made two appearances during his criminal court dates but that was it. She also filed a compliant against the presiding judge over the case, accusing him of bias.  Cosby’s three daughters were not seen attending any of his trial dates.

Wyatt visits Cosby regularly.

Wyatt says that Cosby, who is legally blind, believes he is a political prisoner and has been targeted for his political views, similar to Martin Luther King, Jr.

“They want to entrap me to say I’m remorseful, or to say I did something I didn’t do.’ I’m not going to fall for it,” Wyatt said.

The former TV dad is serving three to 10 years in prison for sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004.  He was found guilty of three counts of felony sexual assault in April of 2018.  His legal team is appealing the conviction.

Cosby was accused of sexually assaulting 60 women over his 50-year career dating back to the 1960’s. The allegations have led to Cosby having honorary degrees revoked and having The Cosby Show pulled from syndication on various networks.
