Plus size model Marquita Pring is known to sashay down the runway for some of your favorite fashion shows this season including 11 Honoré, Cushnie, Christian Dior and more. She’s done campaigns for brands like Lane Bryant and  addition to her banging body, the beauty is known for her smooth skin and luscious locs. Pring is also the first plus-size model to land a major beauty campaign, so naturally, we wanted to know about her favorite products and what she does to continuously look so fresh-faced and fabulous! We caught up with the beauty backstage before the Tadashi Shoji show and she shared how she keep her face smooth, pimple free, and looks extremely supple.

Upon complimenting her skin goals, she laughed and admitted, “A lot of water, a lot of sleep….” However, even models need a little help, so she revealed to us what she uses. “My go-to is my Mario Badescu rose water spray!” This is a cult favorite amongst editors as well (including myself). The Mario Bedusca Rose Water Spray ($7.00, Ulta.com) also contains aloe and herbs to hydrate and give your skin the pick me up you need. It’s great for flights, or if you are getting minimal sleep like Pring because you are slaying the runway.

It’s not all about products, sometimes it’s about literal skincare. Pring explained, “Those jade face rollers, that has been my thing! I got one that has ridges, it’s amazing.” Jade rollers ($30.00, Sephora.com) are great for reducing the puffiness of your face (say you stayed out drinking too late last night or got minimal sleep). Pring uses a more textured jade roller ($44.00, Follain.com) and the benefits of this is that it can help your skin absorb your serums and oils better. If you want to quickly reduce puffy under eyes, Pring says, “put in in the freezer!” The undereye area is so delicate and again, when you are walking in every major show, sleep just might not be realistic. Pring combats baggy under eyes with eye patches by Intraceuticals ($49.00, Intraceuticals.com). “It makes your undereye look like a child. I’m not even kidding!” She admitted that she wish she had one to gift me, but admitted, “I used it this morning!”

Even models use normal, everyday products. For her lips, Pring stated that she uses, “Basic chapstick. The black and white kind!” She pulled the chapstick ($1.39, RiteAid.com) out of her bag and added, “That’s my go to. Everything else dries me out and I can’t stand it but this works.” For less than $2.00, it’s effective and affordable.

Nevertheless, walking the runway, you might want to indulge in some luxury. Curious about her moisturizer, Pring shares that she uses, “a ridiculously expensive face moisturizer by Augustinus Bader, which I’m obsessed with.” The cream is inspired by over 30 years of research and boasts the Trigger Factor Complex (TFC8) technology which helps your skin feel restored and regenerated. The cream has antioxidants to protect your skin from the elements and contains no parabens, fragrance, mineral oils, silicone, or fillers, so you are getting all the good stuff. The cream (get ready to laugh), is called The Rich Cream ($160.00, Barneys.com) and at $160.00 for a 30ml bottle, while a 50ml bottle will run you more than $250.00…we can see why!
