There is nothing like having a consistent workout buddy. They make exercising feel a little less tedious, and of course, they help to keep you on track when you’d rather park yourself on the couch and eat chips and ice cream all day. Now just imagine if Mary J. Blige, Gabrielle Union or Tracee Ellis Ross was your workout partner-in-crime. That would be pretty epic. Almost as epic as all three of those women meeting up to workout together, which they did this week.

The stars met up for an early workout at Heart and Hustle gym, which is a beloved spot in Los Angeles for all three women (and a bevvy of other stars) to get fit at. Not only was their workout a great chance to feel the burn together, but it was also a chance to upflit one another, as each star shared:

“powerhouse badass women kicking a–,” wrote Ross. “this morning at 8a i walked into the orbit of a bunch of strong sisterhood magic! i was soooo tired and not in the mood to workout this morning, so thank you @gabunion and @therealmaryjblige for the motivation and sister vibes, and @heartandhustlegym for the environment.”

Union also applauded her famous girlfriends for the good vibes they shared by meeting up to be an encouragement to one another.

“STRONGER TOGETHER. You mess with one of us, you gotta problem with all of us,” she wrote on Instagram. “8am reminder of our collective strength and bada–ery in this dancery called life. I walked in in a funk and walked out floating on the wings of sisterhood. Let us remember to extend that compassion, love and encouragement to all mankind. Love & Light good people. Thank you @therealmaryjblige & @traceeellisross

All three women make a consistent effort to work up a serious sweat, whether together, with family, or on their own, and that’s why, in their late 40s, they are killing it like this:

…and this…

…and this!

Friend and fitness goals for real.
