Virgil Abloh is the current design darling of the high fashion world. Having his own successful brand, Off White, the designer joined Louis Vuitton as the Creative Director and Designer of their Menswear line. On Wednesday in Paris, he showed the world his second collection, Fall 2019, for the high-end brand and it was even better than the first. Playing into the importance and trends of Black culture, he uplifted his homeland of Ghana, the epicness and beliefs of Michael Jackson, while spreading a message of unity and inclusion. While the show took place in Paris, he transformed his runway to the famed Lower East Side, specifically the corners of Rivington and Ludlow streets. He played up the Fall look with colorful leaves that were scattered across the runway.
