Here’s Why Jay-Z And Beyoncé Are Advocates Of A Plant-Based Diet
Vegan diets and plant-based eating have become all the craze for foodies. Now billionaire moguls and entertainers Jay-Z and Beyoncé are speaking out about how the lifestyle shift to periodic veganism has changed their life.
In a new book penned by Beyoncé’s trainer, Marco Borges called, The Greenprint: Plant-Based Diet, Best Body, Better World, the couple reveals how changing their eating habits has impacted their health.
“Having children has changed our lives more than anything else,” the partners of ten years write in the intro of the book. “We used to think of health as a diet – some worked for us, some didn’t. Once we looked at health as the truth, instead of a diet, it became a mission for us to share that truth and lifestyle with as many people as possible.”
This isn’t the first time Bey has spoken out about her clean eating habits. In March, the performer explained she had gone vegan to prepare for her upcoming return to the stage for Coachella. The result of her diet and discipline was one of the most memorable performances of her career. Bey was looking better and stronger than ever after just giving birth to twins.
