A recent study by the UC Irvine Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders found that coffee and wine play a vital role in living a longer life. For their research, they had been following people since 2003 to explore what helps people live past 90.
According to their study, people who drank moderate amounts of wine or coffee lived longer than those who didn’t consume those drinks at all.
When it comes to the health of our elders, many of us caution our older relatives to watch their weight to prevent them from become vulnerable to deadly diseases. Actually, being a little overweight wont hurt them. The study also found that people who are overweight in their 70’s lived longer than those who were the suggested weight or underweight.
