As open as Ayesha Curry is about her life, you would think you know just about everything about the 29-year-old wife, mother, cook and businesswoman. But during a game of Rachael’s Roulette while hanging out at The Rachael Ray Show, Ayesha was asked what the weirdest/funniest rumor was that she’s heard about herself. After some thought, she said it was a story about her getting her breasts done, and it was funny because it turned out to be true.

“The funniest rumor that I’ve ever heard about myself is that I got my boobs done and it was funny because I totally did [laughs],” she said. “And I couldn’t figure out how the heck they noticed.”

“Listen, I nursed my daughter, my first daughter, for 15 months,” she added. “Give me a break. A Kit Kat wasn’t going to fix this.”

For those who might raise an eyebrow at breastfeeding for more than a year, it worked for the famous mom. On her personal blog, Ayesha kept fans abreast (hehe) of her breastfeeding journey with eldest daughter, Riley, back in 2013.

“My plan was to do it until she was 6 months, but I felt it was necessary and convenient for us to continue on until she’s a year,” she wrote. “I am a stay at home mom so it’s convenient for us to BF.”

The World Health Organization encourages new mothers to breastfeed their children exclusively for the first six months of life, and after they are one and up to two years old, try and wean them off of the boob as they switch to solid foods. However, the WHO doesn’t discourage breastfeeding for however long is most comfortable for mother and child.

Though Curry went on to have breast augmentation done after having Riley, now 6, she went on to have daughter Ryan in 2015 and son Canon five months ago. With that being said, she might decide to have more work done in the near future, and if a mommy makeover here and there makes her happy, we’re not mad at it.
