After years of Omarion pursuing a solo career at what seemed to be at the expense of his group B2K, allegations of sexual assault from former managers, and maybe some undisclosed drama, all four of the founding members of B2K are reuniting for a reunion tour.
According to Billboard, one of the most successful boy bands of all time are embarking on a tour along with Mario, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, Pretty Ricky and more.
The Millennium Tour will begin in March of 2019 and consist of over 20 shows. It will be the first time the group has performed together in a decade. The tour is produced by G-Squared Events in association with Omarion Worldwide, Hall of Fame Entertainment, and Blvd. Music (J. Boog’s company).
Michelle Le Fleur, COO at Omarion Worldwide, said, “We are excited to be a part of what will undeniably be a nostalgic and electrifying performance that will awaken cherished memories and create new, indelible ones for the next generation. While admiring their solo successes, the fans have consistently demanded a B2K reunion and, with the determination of an incredibly talented team, that dream is now a reality.”
The official tour schedule will be released at 9 a.m. ET on December 31, 2018. Tickets will go on sale to the public on January 4, 2019, in some markets and in the remaining cities on January 11.
This is how Omarion made the announcement.
Y’all know how it goes. People always talk about what they want. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll put their money where their mouth is. Personally, while it would be great to sing all those B2K hits, I’m perhaps more excited to see the Ying Yang Twins and hear their barely intelligible lyrics.
