Review Last Year
In order to move forward you first have to know where you’ve been. This is the sole objective behind doing a full review of the previous year before you move forward with your 2019 goals.
Write down a list of all the things that worked for you in the last year on one side and a list of things that didn’t on the other. Visually seeing your last year in front of you on paper allows you to make the specific changes necessarily to start the year off knowing what you need to keep or change in your life.

Put Yourself At The Top Of Your List
This is something that sounds so small, but you’d be surprised how many women have trouble simply putting themselves first. Sure, we as women tend to be all things to all people, but that process can only last for so long before you suffer from burnout.
For the New Year, be committed to placing yourself at the very top of your list. Do things for yourself that make you a better person, mentally, emotionally and physically. Those around you who depend on you so much may have to get adjusted to your new way of life, but hopefully they’ll come around.

Fully Embrace Change
Nothing beats a fail but a try. This basically means that you never know what you can do unless you step outside your comfort zone and try something new. For 2019, cast your doubts/fears aside and fully embrace change in your life.
If there’s anything that you’ve always wanted to do, now is the time to do it. You can’t embrace change half way and the initial commitment is scary, but the payoff is usually worth it.

Be Realistic About Your Goals
This is where many people get so frustrated with their resolutions that they give up. You have to be realistic about your goals, meaning that you shouldn’t expect instant results to everything you’re trying to achieve in the New Year.
Give yourself a realistic and reasonable time-frame to fully reach your goals, while also understanding that those goals may not be reached at all on the first try.

Release Fear
Whether you always wanted to travel abroad, change careers to the job you really want, make the first move on that guy you really like or finally commit to making the Big Chop, you can’t be afraid to go for it in the New Year.
Don’t let the fear of the unknown or rejection, stop you from doing things that have continuously found a place on your to-do list, but have never been attempted. Just go for it in every way possible this year!

Strengthen Your Relationships
The relationships in our lives definitely play a huge role in our mental and emotional state, both of which are essential to living your best life. The start of a new year is the perfect time to strengthen those relationships in your life that need a little TLC.
Family, love and work relationships are all equally important, and can impact us in various ways if they are not at the strongest point that they should be. Even if it may be tough, bite the bullet and make things right.

Get Serious About Your Finances
In this age of uncertainty when we don’t know what each day brings, more and more people are fully embracing the YOLO lifestyle. This means that important lifestyle maintenance such as finances is continuously getting put on the back-burner.
In 2019, it’s time that you get serious about your financial state. If that means sitting down with a professional and having them help you or using your own resources, it’s time to get your coins stacked for more than a rainy day.

Complete Things From Your Bucket List
A lot of times we make a bucket list, but never actually complete anything from it and that list just continues to roll over year after year. Well, for 2019 it’s time to break the cycle once and for all.
Make a firm time commitment to yourself to complete one thing from your bucket list weekly or monthly. Also, don’t be afraid to bring in the reinforcement of the people in your life to help you stay on track.

Find Your Happy Place
This is as simple as it sounds. Find what makes you happy and surround yourself with it as frequently as possible. Your happiness is all about you and no one else, so don’t let the opinions of others stop you from embracing your true happiness, in 2019 and beyond.
