(TriValley Central) — One more retail niche has been filled for Casa Grande area shoppers to save them trips to the Valley. Grande Central – The Hip Hop Shop has opened downtown and offers music, clothing, jewelry and accessories. Eventually, owner Avery Baker plans to add a barber, a nail technician and/or tattoo artist and a recording studio to his storefront at 305 W. Third St. A rap and hip hop artist and producer with his own label who performs under the names Rockemical and Kemikal, Baker plans to continue his musical pursuits, recording, producing and staging shows. But he has invested in his own business, giving up a day job in Phoenix to pursue his love of all things hip hop.
