If anyone was wondering if Cardi B’s announcement of her separation from her husband Offset was a publicity stunt, her latest performance quickly shut down that speculation.

During a performance at Chicago’s B96 Jingle Bash concert at the Allstate Arena last night (Dec. 8)  Bardi confirmed that she and the Migos rapper are no more. On the Migos track “Motorsport” that she is featured on she shouted out her then lover with the lyrics “I get up set off/I turn Offset on/I told him the other day/Man, we should sell that porn.” While performing she remixed the lyrics and rapped “I get up set off/I turn Offset on/I told him the other day/Yeah, we gon’ get a divorce.”

On Dec. 4th the “Be Careful” rapper revealed in an Instagram video that she and Offset were no longer together.

“I been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now,” she said. “And it’s nobody’s fault. It’s just like I guess we grew out of love. But we’re not together anymore. I don’t know what it might take time to get a divorce. And I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”

Cardi B and Offset were married for over a year and have one daughter together, Kulture Kiari Cephus.

During their relationship Cardi dealt with a lot of infidelity from Offset. She allegedly planned an attack on two bartenders from the Queens, NY strip club Angels, Baddie Gi and Jade, after hearing that Jade had an affair with Offset. This resulted in her facing assault and reckless endangerment charges. Another woman, a model and aspiring artist named Summer Bunni, released a teary-eyed apology video last week saying she felt responsible for the demise of their marriage due to her affair with Offset.

In the midst of her marriage failing, the Bronx rapper’s career is continuing to take off. She has been nominated for five Grammys and is the only female rapper who was nominated this year. Her nominations include Album of the Year for Invasion of Privacy and Record of the Year for “I Like It Like That.” The former Love & Hip-Hop star was also named Entertainer of the Year by Entertainment Weekly.
