Ronnie Devoe and his wife, Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie, Shamari Devoe, are in hot water with the IRS. Though they seem to be living comfortably in Atlanta, they owe some big bucks to the government.

Radar Online has obtained documents stating that the Devoes owe $366,786. 38 in back taxes. A federal tax lien was assessed against Mr. Devoe in 2013.

“It appears to still be open and active and will stay this way until 12/25/2023 unless the IRS files a continuation,” Ellen Rodgers, the Real Estate Lien Clerk in the Real Estate Division from the Cobb County Superior Court told the outlet.

Even though they owe a lump sum in back taxes, they don’t seem to be slowing down on the spending. On the last episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta,  they didn’t put a limit of the amount to be spent for their twin sons’ first birthday party. They both even had separate birthday cakes, that cost $1,000 alone.

Since Devoe is still touring with his fellow New Edition members under the new moniker RBRM (Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky & Mike) we are sure he can pay that off, we are just not sure as to why he has let his tax debt add up for five years. Hopefully whatever checks Mrs. Devoe is getting from her new RHOA gig and perfomring with fellow Blaque member Brandi Williams can help as well.

The Blaque member isn’t the first RHOA cast member to owe the IRS. Back in 2016, NeNe Leaks owed almost $1 million dollars in back taxes. She was able to settle it by paying a whopping $842,000 in 2017.
