(Atlanta Business Chronicle) — An all-Republican committee of the General Assembly will begin meeting this fall to develop legislation aimed at curbing illegal immigration in Georgia.

The 14 Georgia House members and senators, appointed by House Speaker David Ralston and Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, will be given free rein to examine a wide range of potential solutions, the two legislative leaders said in a joint news release.
