Skip The Gels

I’m a gel-junkie, for sure, but in the winter time I often forgo my gels for lighter products. In the winter, it’s not hot and humid, which means I don’t need heavy gels to lock my styles in place. By skipping the gels and sticking to leave-ins and cream stylers, I avoid product buildup that ultimately prevents my hair from retaining moisture. For cream stylers, try a twisting butter like this one from Camille Rose Naturals, or a curl definer like this one from Taliah Waajid.
