Living with chronic bloat is miserable. It limits the wardrobe you can wear. It makes you insecure in the bedroom. It’s overall uncomfortable and frustrating. There are some activities—or rather foods and beverages—that we know will make us bloated. If I’m sharing a pitcher of beer with a friend, I expect to be bloated and I plan my outfit accordingly. If my period is around the corner, I know that the days leading up to my period, the days following it, and the days during it are all fair game as far as bloat goes. You drank Kombucha
Kombucha is beneficial to those lacking healthy bacteria in their gut. It can introduce good live cultures that help you break down food. However, if you suffer from Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (or SIBO), then you don’t need more bacteria in there, and having a Kombucha can cause an upset stomach and bloat.
