Iman Brought The Fashi-ON To The Elton John AIDS Foundation Gala
When Iman steps in the room, she automatically has a regal presence. The supermodel took some time away from the spotlight after her husband, David Bowie, died in January of 2016. However, she’s back and has been making her rounds at fashion events, galas, and more. Iman, 63, continues to give us new hair and style stopping looks. She didn’t disappoint at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Gala on Monday night in New York City.

Honored to have attended and supported the Elton John AIDS Foundation Fall Gala @ejfdn last night in custom @zacposen gown honoring Patricia Hearst, Joe McMillan & Darren Walker. Hosted by Gayle King, Performance by Sheryl Crow and special remarks by Bryan Stevenson: Founder & Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and The National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama #ejafgala18
Iman wore a bright pink custom Zac Posen gown. The gown came with a matching jacket that had architecturally magnificent shoulders that draped into a cape. Come on, fashion! At certain angles, it even looks like a bow. I love that Iman is always willing to take a fashion risk!
She wore her hair in short finger waves, a style she goes back and forth between and shows off all of her Somalian features. Her makeup included a smokey eye and the oh-so-popular nude lip that everyone has been rocking on the red carpet.
The Elton John AIDS Foundation Gala was hosted by Gayle King and had performances by Sheryl Crowe and more. Other celebrities in attendance included Ava DuVernay. The event honored Bryan Stevenson, who runs the Equal Justice Initiative, and was honored at the gala.
Looks like great evening enjoyed by all! What do you think of Iman’s look? Tell us in the comment section!
