Logan Browning attended the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund 15th Anniversary party at Brooklyn Navy Yard on Monday evening in NYC. The Dear White People star looked regal with her braided hairstyle that gave off Queen Nefertiti vibes. Yessss!

She wore a white look from Pyer Moss’ Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Pyer Moss’ was the CFDA winner and honored at the event. I love this mixed texture and the pairing of the pleated skirt with a white oversized turtleneck sweater. She wore white and silver lace-up booties. This is definitely a look; however, Browning might be too petite for it. Do you think she’s carrying it well? With multiple oversized pieces, on someone smaller, it can come across as if you are drowning in the outfit.

As we all know, the subtle makeup look is in. Minimal makeup means that it’s imperative that your skincare is on point. Browning looked fresh-faced and dewy. She gave us a glittery nudish eye and then swept some red eyeshadow (or liner) on her bottom lashes. Beautiful! She went for a glossy lip and kept it moving.

Her chandelier earrings added to the regal nature of the look.

I loved all the black celebs that came out to support Kerby Jean Raymond (designer and creator of Pyer Moss) and his win. Other celebs that were there included Uzo Aduba. Many black models showed up as well including Ebonee Davis, Grace Mahary, Grace Bol, Chanel Iman and more. This award is a huge deal in the fashion community and I’m pleased that so many people of color were invited into the room. Jean Raymond’s collections have been celebrated for their focus on black culture in America and for winning this award, he’ll receive $400,000.00.

For such a celebratory evening, it’s no wonder that Logan Browning arrived looking like a Queen!
