Tamar Braxton Wants To Move On In Divorce Proceedings Without Vincent Herbert
Tamar Braxton is ready to move forward with her divorce whether Vince Herbert is there for it or not. Herbert has not been appearing in court and she’s growing weary of his non-compliance. The Braxton Family Values star asked a judge if he can grant her a default judgment on her divorce since her soon-to-be ex-husband has been MIA, The Blast reports.
Their divorce has been dragging on for a year now. Braxton was taking too long to serve Herbert, and after being warned that if she didn’t serve him in a timely manner that her divorce petition would be thrown out, she moved quickly and served him in September.
Since being served, Herbert has yet to appear in court or file court documents of his own responding to the divorce petition. Due to his lack of response, the Grammy-nominated singer may in fact be able to end her marriage without Herbert. The judge can also decide how much the celebrity manager has to pay in spousal and child support without him being there as well.
Braxton filed for divorce from Herbert, who was also her manager and reality show co-star, in October 2017. They share a 4-year-old son, Logan, who is in Braxton’s custody.
