Last week, Kanye West ended his Saturday Night Live appearance with an awkward rant about why he supports Donald Trump dressed in his MAGA hat. During last night’s episode, comedian pete Davidson decided to speak out about Ye’s antics on The Weekend Update segment.

He started off by saying that though many would expect Michael Che to talk about Kanye, he decided he would do it since he also battles a mental illness as well, borderline personality disorder.

“First off, a lot of people thought Che should be the one to talk about Kanye, but we discussed it. Che’s black, but I’m crazy, and we both know which side of Kanye’s at the wheel right now,” he said as the crowd laughed.

Davidson, who is engaged to singer Ariana Grande, said witnessing the Pro-Trump rant was worse in person.

“Speaking strictly for myself, what Kanye said after we went off the air last week was one of the worst, most awkward things I’ve ever seen here,” he said.

Yeezy said people back stage at SNL ‘bullied’ him as they pleaded with him not to wear the hat, which Davidson said did not happen.

“Nobody told him not to wear it. I wish I bullied you. I wish I would have suggested that it might upset some people, like your wife or every black person ever.”

Kanye has been open about him not taking his medication. Davidson gave him some valuable advice: take them!

“There’s no shame in the medicine game. I’m on ’em. … If I ever got on a plane and the pilot said, ‘I just want you to know, this is the real me flying the plane,’ I’d jump out. Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jacka—.”
