Darius McCrary’s Ex-Wife Accuses Him Of Dislocating Two-Year-Old Daughter’s Arm
Actor Darius McCrary, best known for his role as Eddie Winslow on the classic sitcom “Family Matters,” has had more than a few accusations of violence. There were the claims from his ex-wife Karrine Steffans that McCrary beat her with a belt.
Last year, his wife Tammy Brawner accused him of abusing their daughter by holding her over a pot of boiling water. Then later that same year, McCrary claimed that he couldn’t pay child support because he only made $500 throughout the year.
Now, there are additional accusations from Brawner. According to new documents from The Blast, Brawner is now accusing McCrary of dislocating their daughter’s arm, leaving his daughter in tears.
McCrary went on the radio and said that Brawner has been instructing their daughter to lie about this hurting her, instructing her to say “dada hurt her.”
But Brawner said in March 2018, McCrary partially dislocated their daughter’s arm. She even included medical records that describe the injuries.
Brawner told doctors that the girl was taken to the bathroom and he “grabbed her arm.” McCrary denied it, saying he grabbed one hand to lift her and immediately grabbed the other.
The doctor noted that Zoey “cried when attempting to move the arm.”
Zoey was eventually diagnosed with Nursemaid’s Elbow, an injury common among young children and toddlers. It happens when a child’s elbow is pulled and partially dislocates from the bone.
Doctors performed a procedure on Zoey and she reportedly handled it well.
Brawner says that McCrary showed up to a recent visitation with Zoey with another child. He also says the couple were ordered to take co-parenting classes together but McCrary blew it off.
“I cannot co-parent by myself. I have gone above and beyond to parent with Mr. McCrary but he appears to be too bitter and too much of a tyrant to parent with me.”
