Meek Mill Posts About Narcissists After Nicki Minaj Details Abusive Relationship

October 3, 2018  |

Yesterday, we shared the news that Nicki Minaj was releasing a new documentary called Queen. In the trailer for the new project, Minaj speaks about witnessing the abusive behaviors her father inflicted on her mother. Then she shared that surprising detail that she found herself in an abusive situation with a man.

At the time, it wasn’t clear which man she was referencing. Personally, I thought it could have been Nas based on his alleged past. But it seems that another one of her exes stepped forward to not only acknowledge his identity but to also clear his name.

Hours after the trailer was posted the newly released, Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill posted this infographic about narcissists.

You’ll notice he kept it simple with the caption.

While there are already people who are questioning the validity of Nicki’s story, debating whether or not the breaks in her voice and her tears were real. I don’t think it’s helpful or productive to conjecture what may or may not have happened in Nicki and Meek’s relationship. But clearly, it was a toxic situation. I am hoping that Nicki addresses the claims Safaree made about her stabbing him during the course of their relationship. If she’s going to have a conversation about domestic violence, I hope she has an honest one–including the claims he’s made about her. I found it odd that she never challenged his account of the stabbing when the two we’re having their own back and forth on Twitter, not too long ago.

But when it comes to Nicki and Meek, given both of their pasts, I’m sure that we’ll be hearing more about this situation, likely from both parties.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted.
