There Is A ‘F*ck Kavanaugh’ Lipstick That’s Raising Money For Anti-Sexual Assault Organizations

If you haven’t heard about Brett Kavanaugh by now, you’re living under a rock! The judge has tainted his chances of becoming the Associate Supreme Court Justice due to accusations of sexual assault in his teenage years, and probably beyond. This entire case has reinforced that America is a fraternity for white men to do as they please. Many people have responded to the Kavanaugh case, including Lipslut, an activist beauty brand that uses lipsticks to raise awareness and money for a good cause.

“In the wake of recent allegations, this week 100% of all earnings from F*ck Kavanaugh go towards helping anti-sexual assault organizations. These organizations are to be chosen by the people, as with every lipstick purchased comes an opportunity to vote,” the brand wrote via their website. F*ck Kavanaugh ($19.95, is a blood red matte lipstick that is cruelty-free and vegan. After October 7th, a percentage of the proceeds will go to sexual assault organizations.

The brand also has another lipstick named F*ck Trump ($19.95, “50% of all earnings from F*ck Trump go towards helping a civil rights organization targeted by the Trump administration. This organization is to be chosen by the people, as with every lipstick purchased comes an opportunity to vote.” The F*ck Hollywood lipstick ($19.95, is in response to the #metoo movement which gave women everywhere the fortitude to use their voices against sexual assault.

I completely love and support this cause. We are living in a time where women are paid less, treated as objects and what they do with their bodies is constantly up for debate. Although the lipstick itself won’t close the gender payment gap or end sexual assault, it’s mission to help women who are victims of rape or sexual abuse is commendable. As the website says, “we aren’t too pleased with our current sociopolitical landscape, and the standards of the cosmetics industry in general. Chances are you aren’t either. Rather than lip service, we’re putting our money where our mouth is.” Kudos to this brand for taking a stand.
